Arnold Long, 67, of Brighton, beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother, passed away suddenly Nov. 22, 2012 in Brighton.
He was born July 29, 1945, to Wayne and Doris Long. He married Carrol Davidson March 3, 1974.
He served his country in the U.S. Army and attained a degree in nuclear medicine. He is most remembered as the owner of Ace Jewelry Company in Commerce City. In life and his business dealings, he was very well known for his honesty and integrity.
Arnold is survived by his wife of 38 years, Carrol Long; his daughters Andrea Oviatt, of Lochbuie, and Tammy (Jim) Anderson, of Brighton; brother Ronald (Polly) Long, of Cheyenne, Wyo., and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his niece Kim Ramstetter.
A celebration of life took place Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012, at VFW Post #2841, 161 N. Main Street, Brighton. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in his name to The Salvation Army.
