Attempted robbery injures one person

An Adams County sheriff's deputy gathers evidence from near a house in the 8200 block of Quebec Street in Commerce City Wednesday afternoon. Deputies and Commerce City police said the first report of an attempted armed robbery and an assault came around 2:20 p.m. When they arrived, they found a victim critically injured. No names were released at midafternoon Wednesday. Northglenn Ambulance took the victim to a Denver trauma center. The victim's condition is unknown.
