Auditions Jan. 16 for Night of Stars Talent Show

    BRIGHTON — Calling all singers, musicians, dancers and more. The upcoming Night of Stars Talent Show is looking for performers in grades kindergarten through 12th to audition.
    Auditions are set for 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16, at the Brighton Recreation Center, 555 N. 11th Ave., Brighton. There is a $5 fee to audition due at registration or the night of your audition.
    From those auditions, a number of performers will be selected to take part in the local competition, which is prefaced with a dress rehearsal Jan. 31 at the Armory, 300 Strong St. Then on Friday, Feb. 1, the Night of the Stars Talent Show takes places at the Armory. Performers will be judged and prizes awarded for first through third place in each age category in the areas of music, voice and variety. First-place winners will then move on to compete in the state competition March 2 at Adams City High School in Commerce City.
    Admission to the talent show is $6 at the door for ages 4 and older.
