Aurora man charged in death of his father

    WESTMINSTER — District Attorney Dave Young, of the 17th Judicial District, announced last week that Jason Paul Beamer has been charged with first-degree murder in the death of his father, Robert Beamer.
    Westminster police responding to a 911 call on Nov. 17 found Robert Beamer, 68, beaten and covered in blood at 7250 Newton Street. He was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital and later died of his injuries.
