REUNION — Platte Valley Medical Center is moving forward with its first off-site medical office at the Reunion Marketplace. The hospital last week announced it selected BVB General Contractors of Brighton to build the facility.

According to a hospital news release, BVB General Contractors focuses their services on the medical industry and have built more than 100 medical projects since 2008.

BVB General Contractors CEO James Vigesaa will be managing the construction.

“Platte Valley Medical Center has been a cornerstone in the local community for over 50 years, and I am excited to have the opportunity to be a part of that,” he said in the release.

The new office will be 11,800 square feet and its design will mirror the style and shape of PVMC in Brighton. The facility is scheduled to open in October and upon completion, Eagle Ridge Family Medicine, Premier Pediatrics and Alcott Women’s Center will each occupy the building upon completion.

A groundbreaking for the new site has been scheduled for 10 a.m. March 19 in the Reunion Marketplace.
