District 27J announces kindergarten round-up

    BRIGHTON — Children who will be 5-years old by Oct. 1, 2012 can register for kindergarten for Brighton 27J’s upcoming 2012-2013 school year.
    Parents are invited to attend their neighborhood school’s Kindergarten Round-Up coming up April 12.
    The event provides parents with information on registration and gives them an opportunity to meet teachers and principals and pay a visit to classrooms.
    Parents must bring their child’s birth certificate, immunization records and proof of residency to register their new student.
