Ellen Ruth Kilpatrick

    Ellen Ruth Kilpatrick, 88, of Brighton, died Jan. 17, 2012, at her home.
    She was born Jan. 24, 1923, in Griggs, Okla., to Lisle McCune and Velca Huskey. She attended schools in Oklahoma and Missouri.
    Ellen married Earl Kilpatrick June 29, 1943, in Keyes, Okla. She enjoyed cooking and watching television.
    Ellen is survived by her daughter, Judith (David) Newman, of Brighton; brother, Elton (Ina) McCune, of Boise City, Okla., and sister, Wanda Jenkins, of Lamar.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl, in 1982; both parents; two sons, Walter and Kenneth; and one grandson, Robert.
    Service arrangements are pending.
