Lori Ann Christian

-A A +A

Lori Ann Christian was born Feb. 13, 1970, to Claude Brewer and Judith Kay (Spomer-Brewer) Henry, in Denver. She passed away  Dec. 7,  at Avamere Transitional Care & Rehabilitation in Northglenn.

Lori grew up in Hudson and attended Weld Central Junior/Senior High School in Keenesburg.

She was the youngest of three sisters but should have been the oldest as she was always taking care of everyone.  She never forgot and would gladly remind you of birthdays, anniversaries and other special dates.  Lori enjoyed holidays with her family, playing games and giving gifts from her heart.

Her kind and generous heart let her put others before herself, making sure she could help and give her time. Lori gave her time at Avamere in Brighton, where she liked to help with bingo, crafts, and even planting flowers outside in the flower beds.

You would know her room right away as she especially liked to help decorate for the holidays.

Lori enjoyed crafting with beads and made many bracelets and necklaces. She also enjoyed coloring very detailed pictures with colored pencils. Each of these she gave away with love. Her most recent pencil art book, “Creative Coloring – Inspirations from the Heart,” was most fitting as the picture on the front cover is “Love You More.”

Survivors are her sons, Christopher Spomer of Lochbuie, Joseph Christian of Hudson; her mother and stepfather, Judy and Larry Henry, of Hudson; sister Debby (Wayne) Lewton, of Bennett; nephews Stephen Ybarra, of Loveland, and Tyler Lewton of Bennett; niece, Nicole (Ryan) Pederson of Colorado Springs; stepbrothers Lonnie (Molly and son Matthew) Henry, of Silt, and Heath Henry of Denver; and her family of aunts, uncles and cousins.

Her father and a sister, Michelle Ybarra, preceded her in death.
