COMMERCE CITY — The owners of Longmont’s Ziggi’s Coffee announced that Commerce City will be one of the three new locations opening later this year along the Front Range.

The company’s first-ever combined drive-thru and café will be opening in the Belle Creek area in October, according to a news release from Ziggi’s.

Additionally, a Ziggi’s Coffee kiosk will open in the Colorado Mills mall in August, and a third new store will open in November in Firestone, featuring a double-sided drive-thru.

In addition to the coffee, Ziggi’s Coffee features live music and monthly exhibits from local artists. Ziggi’s also has been able to boast that their coffee roaster, Coda Coffee Co., was recognized as the “2014 Macro Roaster of the Year” by Roast magazine.

Ziggi’s has been a mainstay of Longmont since opening in August 2004 with the coffeehouse operating on Main Street near Fourth Avenue.

The success of the Longmont location allowed for expansion over the past 10 years with three other Longmont locations and a café in Westminster. The additions of this year’s expanded locations will bring the total number of Ziggi’s Coffee locations to eight by year’s end.
