Randy D. Brown, 58, of Brighton, passed away Nov. 18, 2012, at his home. He was born March 3, 1954, in Denver, to Victor and Margie (Schenfeld) Brown. He graduated from Brighton High School in 1972 and later married Sandy Bruns July 17, 1971, in Brighton.
Randy was a lifetime resident of Brighton and worked as a carpenter in the Denver metro area for most of his life and as a mechanic for RNT Trucking.
He loved to fish and ATV in the mountains with his family. Randy also loved spending time in the mountains with his wife, Sandy. He loved to work with is hands and could fix anything. Everyone called Randy when something was broken. He was a perfectionist who always did things the right way the first time. Randy had a very loving heart and was a loving father and grandfather.
Randy is survived by his mother, Marg Brown, of Brighton; wife, Sandy Brown, of Brighton; sons, Chad (Jyl) Brown, of Thornton, and Rob (Nicole Cardos) Brown, of Thornton; sisters, Vickie (Don) Pennington, of New Castle, and Sherri Bucci of Brighton; brother, Greg (JoDe) Brown, of Lochbuie; four grandchildren, Brenden, Jake, Cordilla and Sierra.
A memorial service took place at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 23, 2012, at Tabor-Rice Funeral Home in Brighton.
