Ruby Berger, of Longmont, passed away Nov. 12, 2012, in Greeley. She was born Oct. 19, 1928, in McCook, Neb., to Arthur and Martha (Smith) Bowlby. She graduated from Brighton High School and later married Leo J. Berger Dec. 15, 1949, in Platteville.
Ruby is survived by her children, Barbara (Tom) Fletcher, of Longmont, Pat Smith, of Frederick, Laura (Dave) Bredemeier, of LaSalle, Jim Berger, of Longmont, Sue (Andy) Reeves, of Poteau, Okla., and Scott Berger, of Dacono; brother, Leonard (Georgia) Bowlby of Grand Junction; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by both of her parents and her husband, Leo, in 1999.
A rosary service is set for 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15, at Tabor-Rice Funeral Home in Brighton. Mass of Christian burial will follow at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 16, at St. Augustine Catholic Church. Interment at Elmwood Cemetery.
