COMMERCE CITY — The Commerce City Salud Family Health Center, 6255 N. Quebec Parkway, welcomed a new health-care provider to its clinci.
Earlier this month, Michael Noonan, D.O., became the newest provider at the health center.
Dr. Noonan earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Chicago. He then attended New York University, where he earned a master of science degree in computational biology before attending the University of Medicine and Dentistry New Jersey – School of Osteopathic Medicine for medical school.
Dr. Noonan completed his residency in Family Medicine at Boston University Medical Center. Of note, Dr. Noonan served four years as a National Health Service Corps Scholar, a program sponsored by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services that pairs primary care providers with underserved communities.
Dr. Noonan is a Board Certified Family Medicine provider with a passion for improving access to quality care. He has significant experience in the areas of outpatient family medicine, hospital care, and long-term care.
In addition, Dr. Noonan takes a special interest in sports medicine, outpatient orthopedic care and rehabilitation.
At Salud, Dr. Noonan will be providing primary care for all ages as well as osteopathic manipulative treatment for musculoskeletal complaints.
In a release about Dr. Noonan’s arrival, Salud officials said Noonan is looking forward to the opportunity to continue to improve his medical and language skills while working with patients from a variety of backgrounds.
“I am excited to be part of Salud’s mission to serve the working people of northeastern Colorado, and I hope to make a positive difference,” Noonan said in the release.
Dr. Noonan is a Colorado native and graduated from Arvada High School in 1995. He is thrilled to be practicing back in his home state.
Outside of his work at Salud Family Health Centers, Dr. Noonan enjoys woodworking, hiking, bicycling, motorcycling, and spending time with his two dogs.
