Sheriff's Office: Woman identified in Adams County homicide

ADAMS COUNTY — Investigators have identified the woman killed March 3 on the 5200 block of Pecos Street in Adams County.

Adams County Sheriff's Office officials say Yajaira Zamarippa, 23, was killed March 3 at 5211 Pecos St. Her identity had been withheld until March 5 for notification of next of kin.

Sheriff's deputies are looking for a person of interest in the homicide, Miguel Angel Gonzales. Gonzales is a Hispanic male, standing 6 feet tall and weighing about 215 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
