A Commerce City transit company is set to lay off 117 employees and shutter operations March 31, according to a City of Commerce City news release.

All Aboard Transit Services lost its Regional Transportation District contract to provide Access-A-Ride programs, after RTD executive committee members decided to go with other companies to provide service.

All Aboard Transit was one of a number of bidders for the RTD contract. RTD staff noted the company’s experience operating the service as a strength.
