Woman reports noises at front door

    An 84-year-old woman told police that she heard someone trying to open the front screen door of her home in the 500 block of Egbert Street about 3 a.m., Nov. 16.
    The woman called her daughter, who then called police. The daughter told police it’s not the first time her mother has reported suspicious activity. Earlier this summer, the elderly woman reported flashlights shining in through her bedroom window.
    The department’s senior liaison officer was contacted to talk with the woman.
    There are no suspects or leads in the incident.
