BRIGHTON -- Prairie View’s football team enters the postseason for the second straight campaign with some serious momentum.

It came from a 47-12 win over Brighton in the annual Superintendent’s Cup game.

“It gives us a nice bit of motivation,” said PVHS quarterback Ben Meraz, who threw touchdown passes to Zach Peterson and Tavish Whelan. “We’ll be ready to work this week.”
