Adams City's Daniel Long was his team's medalist at the Tay Invitaional at Legacy Ridge Sept. 3. He carded a 48-over par total of 120. Micah Ortiz (49-over total of 121) and Max Gutierrez (64-over total of 136) contributed to the team score.

ACHS was 24th in the team standings.


Mountain Range spoiled Adams City's home opener Sept. 6 by a score of 27-6. ACHS drops to 1-1 this season. 

Miguel Hernandez had two, first-half interceptions to stop Mountain Range drives. He also scored the Eagles' lone touchdown on a 6-yard run in the third quarter.


Alameda shut out Adams City 2-0 Sept. 5 in Commerce City. ACHS goalkeeper Isaac Pinon recorded five saves. No stats were available for the Pirates.

Bruce Randolph and Adams City finished in a 1-1 tie Sept. 7 in Commerce City. Joel Abisoni scored for Bruce Randolph. No stats were available for the Eagles.


Riverdale Ridge topped Adams City 11-1 in six innings Sept. 6 at the Berthoud tournament in Loveland. RyAnn LeBlanc got credit for Adams City's RBI. She, Jay Jones and Avril May had the Eagles' hits.

Sienna Mullin had three hits and drove in three runs. Sydnee Fordham and Destiny Hackney had two hits and three RBIs for the Ravens. Aubree Davis had two hits and two RBIs. Taylor DeShaun threw a two-hitter over six innings and struck out three. 

Montrose beat the Eagles 9-3 in Berthoud Sept. 6. Jones and Elianna Vega had Adams City's RBIs. Paige Beiriger had two  hits.

Skyline pushed over five runs in the fifth inning and beat the Eagles 14-13 Sept. 7. Katie Archer had a base hit and drove in three runs for the Falcons. Samantha Powell added three hits for Skyline. No stats were available for ACHS.

Heritage beat Adams City 15-5 Sept. 3 in Littleton. No stats were available for either team.
