Anticipated growth drives 2019 budget

 When looking at the City Council approved budget for 2019, one thing that stands out is an emphasis on continued growth.  

The projected revenue from all sources is $86 million. It represents a 10 percent increase from the 2018 budget. 

Nearly $70 million is the city’s largest revenue source, comes from sales and use tax. It accounts for more than 80 percent of the city’s projected revenue. As for the city’s expenditures that covers day-to-day operations and services are nearly $67 million through the general fund.
