Commerce City police investigating Tuesday morning shooting

COMMERCE CITY — Commerce City police are looking for a vehicle in connection with a shooting June 17 that left one man injured.


It happened around 10 a.m. in the 700 block of state Highway 2.


Police want to find a 2007 tan Chevy sedan with a rear Wyoming license plate. The tag is 2-60478, Police said the inside of the car is red, and the vehicle has chrome, after-market rims. Officers also identified three persons of interest who may be associated with the car. The three are Stephen Rucker, Lane Moreau and Kimberly Fifer.

Commerce City police spokesman Officer Chris Dickey said officers were called after a man in his 20s suffered a gunshot wound. The victim, who has not been identified, was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment and is expected to survive.
