Suspect charged in apartment complex fire

A 33-year-old man has been charged with 34 counts of arson and criminal mischief stemming from an apartment complex fire last month, in Westminster. 

District Attorney Dave Young, of the 17th Judicial District, announced last week that Christopher Edward Meyer was charged with one count of criminal mischief (F3) for damaging the property of Sky View Apartments, and 33 counts of fourth-degree arson (F4) for starting the fire, which placed 33 individuals in danger of death or serious bodily injury. The charges state that the damages exceeded $100,000.
