Three sent to hospital after Highway 2 accident

A driver and two passengers were taken to the hospital after an accident at 8:45 p.m. Wednesday, July 25, at the intersection of East 64th Avenue and Colorado Highway 2. The three people were released from the hospital late Wednesday with minor injuries.

A white Chevy Blazer traveling northbound on Highway 2 collided with a dark-colored Honda Accord turning eastbound on to East 64th Avenue from southbound Highway 2, according to the Commerce City Police Department. Both vehicles sustained serious damage in the crash.
