  • Aroma Dispensary a new face on pot scene

    Commerce City is officially a part of the growing marijuana industry in Colorado, with the grand opening of Aroma Dispensary, 5433 Quebec St., on July 13.

    Chris Roessing, 31, manager of the dispensary, said that so far business has been excellent. Commerce City residents are excited and have offered support, he said.

    Roessing and owners Gabe Lindsay, 35 and Neelin Shead, 34, have been impressed with the warm welcome they have received.

    Builders in the Turnberry subdivision are building more homes in Commerce City.

    Jessica L. Hansen, media relations for D.R. Horton Inc., builders of the community, said that the company plans for home prices to start in the $340,000 range, and that models should be completed in July. 

    “There has been a lot of interest. Currently, we have an interest list forming, and we plan to begin pre-sales in May,” she said.

    BRIGHTON — GoodHealthwill, the only health and medical thrift store in Rocky Mountain region, opened a new location Jan. 4, in Brighton. The nonprofit accepts donated health supplies and medical equipment, allowing the public to have access to low-cost medical supplies.

        This November, Poulson received the NNOHA’s prestigious Outstanding Clinician award at their National Primary Oral Health Conference in Indianapolis.

  • Front Range Auto to donate some December car sales to CASA

                BRIGHTON — Court Appointed Special Advocates of Adams and Broomfield counties partnered with Front Range Auto, of Brighton, to raise funds for abused and neglected children in the community. 

    Throughout the month of December, the dealership pledged to donate $100 to CASA of Adams and Broomfield counties for every car sold.
