    GREELEY — Numerous area students have been named to the dean’s list or the honor roll for the 2014-15 academic year at the University of Northern Colorado.

  • Missouri S&T honor roll

    ROLLA, Mo. — Missouri University of Science and Technology announced last week the names of students who made the honor list for the Spring 2015 semester.

    Aaron Steven Watts, of Commerce City, was named to the honor list for the spring semester. To be included on the honor list, students must have carried a minimum of 12 hours and had grade point averages of 3.2 or above out of a possible 4.0.

  • Area UW graduates

    LARAMIE, Wyo. — Some local students earned degrees from the University of Wyoming this past spring semester.

    Courtney Melissa Nordhus, of Commerce City, and Diego Lander-Saldana and Kyle Gregory Schriner, of Thornton, were among the nearly 13,000 students from 50 states and 77 countries to earn a degree from UW, which offers more than 200 areas of study.

    WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Association of Latino Administrators and Superintendents announced in July Rose Hill Elementary principal Sherry Segura was one of five educators from Colorado chosen to participate in the ALAS Superintendents Leadership Academy.

  • ACHS sets new student registration times; process starts July 28

    COMMERCE CITY — New students can sign up for classes at Adams City High School July 28-30.

    The 10th-graders take their turn July 28, with juniors following July 29, and the seniors rounding out registration July 30. Times are 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day.
