Adams 14 School District canceled classes and extracurricular activities for Jan. 6.

The culprit is a fast-moving snowstorm and high wind-chill values. Road conditions are expected to be poor, the district said.

Out of an abundance of caution related to both weather conditions and associated attendance challenges further affected by the
pandemic, all Adams 14 schools and facilities will be closed on Thursday. January 6," said an email.

There won't be any instruction in either in-person or virtual formats. School activities and events will be postponed, and there will be no meals available in the schools

The district said grounds, maintenance and building engineers need to report to work during their regularly scheduled hours All remaining district employees will work remotely.
