Bus stop blessings

Bishop Kae Madden of the Church of the Beloved Ecumenical Catholic Community put ashes on Michael Gray and blesses him March 2 at Northglenn's Wagon Road Park and Ride. Gray was not one of the commuters waiting to catch 6:30 a.m. ride to Denver but stopped at the bus stop just for the blessing.

Ministers from Northglenn's Church of the Beloved Ecumenical Catholic Community and the Northglenn United Church of Christ offered ashes and blessings to early morning commuters at Northglenn's Wagon Road Park and Ride March 2, marking Ash Wednesday and the beginning of the Christian season of Lent.
The ministers were scheduled to offer ashes at E.B. Rains Jr. Memorial Park at 10:30 a.m.
