The second-grade students in Mellisa Goane's class at Fort Lupton's Twombly Elementary normally write letters to Santa Claus, and this year was no exception despite working remotely because of COVID-19.

"Writing letters to Santa is part of their letter writing unit, and I think they did an amazing job," Goane said. "We do these letters every year, and there was no way we were going to let remote learning keep us from the tradition."

She shared those letters with the Fort Lupton Press and we're sharing them with you.

Hope the reindeer behave

Santa, how are you? I hope the reindeer are listening to you. I have been doing good in online school and I donated some presents. May I have a new X-Box please
