Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers celebrated its ribbon-cutting ceremony with the community of Brighton on January 6th. The official opening of the fast-casual restaurant was on December 28th.
“Brighton’s family-friendly atmosphere and the proximity to many different retail businesses and restaurants in the Prairie Center district make the area a great fit for Freddy’s,” said Brian Pyle, franchise owner and also own 15 additional locations in the Denver area.
According to officials, Freddy’s was founded in 2002 by Scott Redler, Bill, Randy, and Freddy Simon in Wichita, Kansas.
Freddy’s serves up a specialty steakburger with 100% ground beef sprinkled with Freddy’s Famous steakburger & fry seasoning. Also, on the menu is Vienna beef hot dogs with shoestring fries and Freddy’s famous fry sauce. Throughout the day they also serve freshly churned frozen custard. Freddy’s is a 3,050 square foot restaurant located in the Prairie Center district with 84 guest seats and additional seating on the patio. The drive-thru service is also open.
“It’s always fun when we get to bring Freddy’s to a new area and reach new guests who may not have tried our concept before. We’re delighted to join the city of Brighton and appreciate the excitement surrounding our opening. Our team members are genuinely looking forward to serving and getting to know guests in the community,” said Pyle.
Thomas Street Capital Partners private equity firm took on Freddy’s in March of 2021.
As of today, Freddy’s has expanded to 400 locations serving 32 states from the west coast to the east coast. Not to mention Freddy’s was named number one best franchise to buy by Forbes magazine, and also made the list of the top 10 fastest grown restaurant chains in the United States in 2021, according to officials. In Colorado there are 30 locations and two additional sites are under construction in Windsor and Clifton.
“We are thrilled to have Freddy’s officially open in Brighton,” said Patrick Giron, President & CEO of the Brighton EDC on the City of Brighton’s website. “The community’s response to Freddy’s in town has been overwhelmingly positive, so we are so glad that Brightonians have this great new food option in the city.”
